Stayed there 2 nights in Blue Jay Knob. It's somewhat remote and no close access to the lake. It appears to be an older park with a pleasant staff. We experienced electrical problems in our trailer shortly after hook up to the power pedestal. While I can't confirm the pedestal caused the problem, but closer inspection leads me to believe it is highly likely coupled with the timing of our converter going out. Be careful if you hook up to 50 amp service there. I think it was site 136 but not sure.
Such a great place to get away for a weekend. Cabins are nice but plenty of tent camping is avalible. I typically go in the fall right when the leaves change.
This is family and friends outing place. Beautiful and scenic plenty of activities and picture taking too.
Lake Tenkiller state park has cabins for rent with fully stocked kitchens, just bring your own food. They also have wood burning fireplaces, walking trails, boat ramp, swimming areas, a restaurant in the harbor. Right across the road is Big Daddy's restaurant with a great buffet or order off the menu.
Friendly place to enjoy the outdoors or meet fellow outdoor enthusiasts. Great place to live or retire. Pine Cove Marina in the park is a business run by a nice local family. Great bathing suits at the marina store.
